Juventus have confirmed that Vincenzo Iaquinta will miss the rest of the Serie A season – and possibly Italy's UEFA EURO 2008™ campaign – with a thigh injury sustained in April.

The 28-year-old striker, who has scored eight goals in 24 league appearances this term, was injured in training midway through last month but was expected to be fit for the Bianconeri's final two matches. However, the Turin club have now confirmed that Iaquinta will not play again this campaign and have informed the national team medical staff of his situation.
