FIFA Women's World Cup winner Renate Lingor has successfully undergone surgery on her injured shoulder. The 1. FFC Frankfurt and Germany midfielder suffered a dislocation during the German DFB Cup final against 1. FC Saarbrücken.

"If the healing goes well, she could return to training within six weeks," said team doctor Dr. Ingo Tusk after the operation. Lingor has played six games this season and scored four goals.
