Eintracht Frankfurt climbed to sixth in the Bundesliga after defeating FC Energie Cottbus 2-1. Timo Rost put the visiting side ahead three minutes after the interval but Frankfurt hit back with goals from Caio on 59 minutes and Marco Russ five minutes after that to seal victory.

Eintracht move above champions VfB Stuttgart into sixth spot while Cottbus, who fell to their 14th league defeat of the season, missed their chance to pull away from the relegation zone.
