Coach Jan Urban has signed a new three-year deal with Legia Warszawa, cheering a club who have lost two of their three Polish league games since the end of the winter break.

"The deal will come into force on 1 July and will expire on 30 June 2011," said Legia president Leszek Miklas. Former Polish international Urban, 45, took charge last summer and has led the team to third place in the Ekstraklasa. Legia have also extended the contract of sporting director Miros³aw Trzeciak.
