Portsmouth are becoming more and more stronger, and with Crouch and Defoe, they should prove very competative in Europe this season.

Yes Crouch is a scoop for Portsmouth - good move from English player point of view to see him play out of Torres shadow at Liverpool to see what they can do this season. Good link of English players with one of the mos accomplished English managers of recent times.

I am a Portsmouth fan and seeing the team to go EUFA Cup is certainly an exciting time but Crouch? Ouch... that hurts. Don't Redknapp have any other more profilic striker in mind than Crouch with the money he got in his spending budget? Sigh.... i hope he knows what he's doing and i can only hope while watch my team rise or floop in Europe.

Big and small striker. its the classic front two pairing. dafoe will work well off crouchs layoffs and scraps. it can be a formidable partnership and they can cause problems for a lot of defenses. good signing i think.

Guuner66, yes i agree that patnership can work well but Crouch=Big?? He's not a strong player by far on the list of striker that's over 6.5 feet. He would be a good patner for a Tall and short striker patner combo more like it :)
