MADRID (AFP) - The duel between Barcelona and double UEFA Cup winners Sevilla will be the highlight of the Spanish Cup round of 16 following Friday's draw.

It is the first time in the history of the tournament that only first division clubs have made it to the last 16. The first legs will be played on January 9 with the returns on January 16.

Among the other duels will be Real Madrid against Mallorca and Atletico Madrid against Valladolid.

The last 16 of the tournament was made up of only first division clubs several times in the 1950s and 1960s but on those occasions the teams qualified directly, without playing.

Last 16 fixtures:

Sevilla - Barcelona

Recreativo Huelva - Villarreal

Real Zaragoza - Racing Santander

Mallorca - Real Madrid

Athletic Bilbao - Espanyol

Real Betis - Valencia

Atletico Madrid - Valladolid

Getafe - Levante
