Honduran and Wigan midfielder Wilson Palacios has signed a new deal with Wigan.

Palacios told the Wigan Athletic website that he had signed a new deal at the JJB Stadium earlier today.

He added that he has enjoyed playing under manager Steve Bruce whom he followed when he moved from Birmingham City.
