HOUSTON, United States (AFP) - Defending champion Houston Dynamo advanced to the Major League Soccer final with a 2-0 triumph over Kansas City here Saturday.

Goals by American Nate Jaqua in the 35th minute and Canadian Dwayne De Rosario in the 81st lifted Houston past the Wizards, who had no shots on goal, and into their second final in two years since moving to Texas from San Jose.

The Dynamo will face the New England Revolution in the November 18 playoff championship final at Washington. The Revolution will try to complete the US double, having taken its first US Open Cup title earlier this season.
