LISBON, May 28 (SW) - Serbia & Montenegro have joined France in the semi finals of the UEFA U-21, as Portugal scored a late goal to beat Germany.
France - Serbia & Montenegro 2-0
France won their third match in a row, beating the Serbs 2-0. The opening goal came from Bryan Bergougnoux in the 33rd minute and Jeremy Toulalan added a second in the 54th.
Germany - Portugal 0-1
Germany needed a draw to finish second with four points, but a goal from Joao Moutinho earned Portugal a win in the dying minutes.
Serbia & Montenegro, Portugal and Germany all have three points, but the Serbs have a better goal record and advance to the semi finals.
