AMSTERDAM, Nov 9 (SW) - Henk ten Cate's Ajax Amsterdam secured a spot in the Dutch Cup round of sixteen by beating ADO Den Haag 2-0 at the Arena on Thursday.

Former Manchester United and AC Milan defender Jaap Stam put the home side in the lead after just eight minutes.

ADO failed to reply and it was striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar to decide the match by netting for 2-0 in the 65th minute.
