ROTTERDAM, Dec 10 (SW) - Troubled Feyenoord hosted last-placed ADO Den Haag and needed until the second half to make a real difference.

Feyenoord struggled in the first half but a goal from Nicky Hofs finally broke the deadlock, ten minutes into the second.

The talented Jonathan de Guzman doubled the lead four minutes later and Greek striker Angelos Charisteas was allowed to add a third, from the penalty spot in the 85th minute.

Santi Kolk scored a consolation goal for ADO in added time.

Feyenoord are fifth in the Dutch league with 32 points from 16 games, while ADO only manage to earn eight points and occupy the last position.
