PRAGUE/SOFIA, Nov 30 (SW) - AS Monaco defeated Slavia Prague to take the lead in UEFA Cup Group A, while CSKA Sofia got their first win, at home against Viking FK.
Slavia Prague - AS Monaco 0-2
AS Monaco needed eleven minutes to open the score with a goal from Toifilou Maoulida, who also got the second and decisive goal for the French side in the 71st. Monaco now lead with six points from three games, while Slavia are third with four points.
CSKA Sofia - Viking FK 2-0
A converted penalty from Hristo Yanev put CSKA in the lead after 35 minutes, and Guillaume Zadi added another, two minutes after the interval. CSKA are still fifth but a win in the last match may have them finish in the top three.
Viking's European adventure is over, as the Norwegians are in fourth place after four games.
