After this match Getafe CF remain without a home win this season. They were denied today by UD Almeria who equalised late in the game.

Both sides began tentatively and neither side looked interested in scoring. However the second half was a far more open affair especially in the final twenty minutes or so when all four goals were scored. Ikechukwu Uche slotted past Diego Alves in the Almeria goal from a neat flick-on from Manu. The score was doubled in the seventy second minute when Juan Albin passed a through-ball to Francisco Casquero who fired into the top of the net.

Getafe had chances to finish the game off with further chances but it was left to the visitors Almeria to eventually decide the outcome of the match. A cross from Julio Alvarez headed home by Negredo who then set up Chico after goalkeeper Jacobo failed to punch the ball far away enough. Negredo gained control of the ball crossed it to Chico who side-footed it past Jacobo.
